The Field Service Technician provides customers with technical assistance, consulting services, quotes jobs, provides training, and acts as liaison between customers and the Company sales, engineering and manufacturing department. The position also assists management in sales, field service and warranty issues. The role plans and coordinates activities concerned with investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems as well. The Field Service Technician represents the Company in the support of product startup, warranty service and billable repair. This position reports to the Field Services Manager.
This position will mainly serve Henry Pratt Company’s Central which generally comprise the Central U.S. This role requires significant travel (80%+) to customers site locations within the coverage area as well as when necessary to travel to potentially other areas in the U.S.

Primary work hours will be Monday through Friday with occasional weekend travel or work. Work hours will vary based on customer requirements. As noted above, significant travel is required. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
