Job Summary
The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Operations Manager and will take a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing a vast array of dewatering and treatment systems and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks according to Griffin SOPs and JSAs.
- Proactively visit jobsites to monitor dewatering system performance, meet with clients, and make repairs on systems or equipment as needed.
- Complete site inspection paperwork, field daily reports,
- Effectively tune and troubleshoot dewatering systems, pumps and electrical equipment.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, pumps, and electrical equipment.
- Maintain orderliness of installed Griffin equipment and materials.
- Follow directives accurately and efficiently.
- Effectively communicate with client, supervisor and co-workers.
Job Requirements
- Legal to work in US.
- Pass a required drug and background screen.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Percent of Travel Required – up to 50%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30 Certified.
Preferred Experience
- Prior dewatering experience with various system types.
- CDL (Class A or B).
- TWIC Card.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and stand.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.
- Continuous walking, stair climbing, and lifting.
- Full range of physical motions associated with general labor work.
- Continual exposure to all outdoor weather conditions (extreme heat and cold); exposure to noise and fumes generated from motorized equipment.
