Roberts Sinto is currently seeking a Service Tech to join our Team in Grand Ledge, MI

What You Will Do

**Service Tech **

is responsible for providing customers with product and technical support as needed.

General

• Equipment Installation / set-up, inspection, service & maintenance of various product lines in both foundry and automotive plants.

• The run-off of assorted RSC Foundry automated equipment (green sand application) as well as specialized conveyor systems for the automotive industry.

• Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external customers and positively representing RSC’s interest at the customer plant is imperative.

• Complete job related paperwork such as reports and daily logs

What We Want From You

• Minimum of High School diploma and/or equivalent.

• Programmable Logic Controllers: 4 years (Preferred)

• Maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)

• Prior experience with work travel preferred

• Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Ability to analyze and resolve basic problems. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or equipment, and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extremes of heat and cold, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
