Job Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Field Service Technician is part of Midmark’s Animal Health Installation Team, directly contributing to the company’s mission of improving the experience between caregivers and patients—both human and animal—through innovative solutions. This role is responsible for installing and assembling Midmark’s animal containment products, casework, and other equipment at customer locations across the United States. By ensuring precise installations that align with Midmark’s design and quality standards, the Field Service Technician helps to harmonize space, technology, and workflows, creating environments that enhance efficiency and support exceptional care. 

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Installs Midmark products at the customers’ sites.
  • Follows all team lead/senior team lead instructions, design drawing requirements, and product installation specifications.
  • Travels to customer facilities. 
  • Follows road rules and travel policies.
  • Manages job-related expenses and receipts; submit expense reports.
  • Follows all job site safety procedures.
  • Keeps the work area clean and organized. 
  • Performs equipment inspections and job site clean-up to ensure quality standards are met.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma, or equivalent, and 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Beginning working knowledge of reading and understanding construction drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with both hand and power tools. 
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Fluent with measurement tools: tape measure, level, etc.
  • Beginning working knowledge of general job site safety.
  • Experience with casework and countertop installation. 
  • This position requires 100% travel.
