Location:Cincinnati, OH (travel around 40-50% of the time within this territory)
**Compensation: **$32-39/hr+, based on experience
What You’ll Do
- Operate and support advanced multi-robotic welding systems.
- Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies.
- Track inventory of components and completed assemblies.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated equipment and robotic cells.
- Monitor equipment performance, part fit-up, and overall system operation.
- Record equipment and performance data to support engineering troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
- Service and maintain pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, sensors, and electrical automation components.
- Support the integration and installation of autonomous robotic welding cells within manufacturing environments.
- Learn system operating processes, including basic command prompts, programming, and code changes.
- Work directly with customers to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic, and automation issues.
- Inspect, clean, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical components.
- Adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities in a fast-paced technical environment.
Who You Are
- Technical/trade school certification, Associate degree in Engineering Technology, BS in Engineering, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, preferably industrial or manufacturing equipment.
- Some welding experience preferred; welding certifications are not required.
- Experience in a fabrication, machine shop, manufacturing, automation, or similar industrial environment.
- Comfortable learning basic programming and software used to operate automated equipment.
- Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with both large equipment and smaller, sensitive components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and customers.
- Eager to learn new technologies and develop additional skills in robotics and automation.
