If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, communicating with customers, and supporting fast-moving service operations—this role will feel like a strong fit.

At American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO), we’re looking for a Field Service Support Associate to help support customer communication, service coordination, proposals, and day-to-day operational support for our Industrial Crane Services team.

This is not a “sit back and wait for instructions” role—this position requires responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to keep multiple moving pieces organized.

You won’t get lost here—your work will directly support customers, technicians, and revenue-generating service operations.

What This Role Really Is

This is a developmental service support role designed to build foundational knowledge in service operations, customer communication, proposal coordination, and technical support. You’ll spend your time supporting service activity, helping customers, coordinating internally, and learning the full lifecycle of industrial field service operations.

Who Thrives Here (and Who Doesn’t)

You’ll do well here if you:

  • Stay organized and follow through on commitments
  • Communicate professionally and respond promptly
  • Enjoy learning technical products and service operations
  • Can balance multiple priorities without losing accuracy

This role is likely not a fit if you:

  • Struggle managing details or follow-up tasks
  • Prefer repetitive work with little interaction
  • Need constant direction to stay productive
  • Become overwhelmed in fast-paced service environments

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Learn ACECO service workflows, systems, and communication processes
  • Build confidence communicating with customers and internal teams
  • Support proposals, scheduling, and service coordination with increasing independence
  • Maintain accurate CRM and service documentation
  • Demonstrate reliability, responsiveness, and strong follow-through
