**Field Service Engineer – Metal Fabrication EquipmentGreat benefits, plus bonus and profit share.80-90% travel. Usually home weekends.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers using metal fabrication and sheet metal processing equipment. This is a highly field-based role focused on equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and customer support.

The engineer will be centrally based near a large portion of the customer base but should be comfortable with extensive nationwide travel. International travel may occasionally be required, but it will be limited.

**Responsibilities

**

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and service CNC and sheet metal fabrication equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or controls-related issues

• Perform equipment startup, commissioning, maintenance, and customer training

• Travel to customer facilities throughout the U.S. to provide onsite technical support

• Work directly with customers to identify equipment issues and provide solutions

• Communicate service findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams

• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and preventative maintenance as needed

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

**Qualifications

**

• Field Service Engineering or Field Service Technician experience with metal fabrication or sheet metal equipment

• Experience with CNC machinery, machining equipment, or automated manufacturing systems

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in customer environments

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S.

• Ability to travel internationally on an occasional basis

**Travel Requirements

**

• **Extensive nationwide travel is required

**

• Expect to be away from home approximately 4 nights per week

• Travel will primarily be within the United States

• International travel will be infrequent

• Travel schedules will vary based on customer needs and service requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a highly mobile, customer-facing position
