Fuller Technologies is seeking a hands-on Ventomatic® Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of Ventomatic equipment at customer sites throughout the United States and the Americas.
This is a U.S.-based, travel-intensive position. Candidates must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship. Travel is approximately 80% and may include extended customer-site assignments.
We are especially interested in candidates with direct Ventomatic® equipment experience or experience supporting cement packing, palletizing, bagging, bulk loading, dispatch, or similar automated material-handling systems.
Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Ventomatic® equipment and systems at customer sites.
Support cement packing, bagging, palletizing, conveying, bulk loading, and dispatch equipment.
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation issues.
Perform equipment inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, startup support, and root-cause analysis.
Support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, actuators, instrumentation, and other field devices.
Lead or support equipment installation and commissioning activities from initial setup through customer acceptance.
Provide hands-on technical support during equipment failures and production-critical situations.
Train customer operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, service improvements, and process optimization.
Prepare service reports and communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Work closely with Fuller engineering, product, automation, and service teams to resolve technical issues.
Direct Ventomatic® equipment experience is highly preferred.
Experience with cement packing, palletizing, bagging, bulk loading, dispatch, or automated material-handling equipment is strongly preferred.
3+ years of field service, commissioning, maintenance, or related heavy industrial experience.
Cement industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with industrial controls and automation, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and field devices.
Experience with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Ability to independently diagnose problems and make sound technical decisions in the field.
Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Must currently reside in the United States.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Must be willing and able to travel approximately 80%, primarily to customer sites throughout the United States with additional travel across the Americas as needed.
Ability to meet customer-site safety and access requirements.
You may be a strong fit if you have worked as a Ventomatic Field Service Engineer, Cement Packing Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Packaging Equipment Service Engineer, Automation Field Service Engineer, or Cement Plant Packing/Maintenance Engineer and have hands-on experience keeping complex industrial equipment running in the field.
