Position Summary
Seeking a dynamic Safety Technician with strong leadership skills, ability to identify/mitigate risks and develop safety control programs for one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. Opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen safety culture and improve hazard awareness for a world leader in manufacturing technology.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Ability to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices
Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs
Implement, administer and advise others on hazard control programs
Measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements
Evaluation of regulatory compliance associated with safety programs/policies
Review contractor work activities related to safety awareness
Scaffolding experience a plus.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
3+ years’ experience in Health & Safety.
Associate of Science degree preferred.
Pursuit of professional safety designation a plus (CHST, CSHO, ASP, etc.).
Familiarity with hazardous materials, related regulations and NIOSH standards.
Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001,ISO 14001, 50001, and 45001.
Familiarity with OSHA Regulatory/Reporting Guidelines.
Proficient communications skills regarding presentation, coaching/mentoring, and working with others.
Capable of risk recognition, and countermeasure development.
Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
The current base salary range for this role is between $21.00 - $52.20. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
