Preventive Maintenance Technician – Heavy Equipment

Position Overview:

Seeking a technician with experience performing preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, construction machinery, diesel-powered equipment, or similar mobile equipment. This role is responsible for routine service, equipment inspections, and identifying maintenance concerns to support equipment reliability and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify wear, damage, leaks, or potential mechanical issues.
• Collect and document fluid samples when required.
• Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately.
• Report equipment deficiencies and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, service vehicles, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow established safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Provide professional support and communication to customers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, mining equipment, diesel trucks, or related machinery.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• CAT Equipment is a plus
• Ability to inspect equipment and recognize potential repair needs.
• Experience working independently in field or shop environments.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
