Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Perform precision machining and fabrication tasks according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct on-site inspections and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of machining activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machining, preferably in a field environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
