Micron is seeking highly motivated Product & Process Technicians to perform failure analysis and support yield and failure analysis operations. This role supports fabrication processing at the forefront of innovation for the world’s leading memory and storage solution provider, Micron Technology. Responsibilities:
Complete all required safety training, conduct work in accordance with safety policies, and assist in training new team members as advised by leadership.
Primarily work in a laboratory-based environment, working on different kinds of lab equipment including but not limited to various kinds of imaging microscopes, electrical testing equipment, handling of silicon wafers and working with hazardous chemicals.
Supports manufacturing teams and occasionally performing data analysis tasks.
Perform failure analysis to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely results by collaborating with teams and area engineering on workstation and operational improvements; monitor key bottlenecks and priority work for the laboratory.
Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving by providing troubleshooting support for complex issues, analyzing data to make critical process decisions, and offering technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms and manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) and be willing to move to different shifts and work overtime to support business operations.
The ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals and fragile silicon wafers while occasionally wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as a chemical apron and face shield (approximately 20% of the time).
Candidates must be willing to alternate assignments between working on imaging tools, working on silicon wafer de-processing and/or monitoring yields using introductory Data analysis skills.
Preferred Requirements:
AAS or AS Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent trade school/military experience)
Past laboratory working experience working with complex imaging tools and handling of chemicals to perform experiments.
2+ years of industry experience; or equivalent military training and experience
2+ year experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements.
