Founded in Houston, Texas, USA, Seatrax has expanded its reach to include locations in Louisiana and the United Kingdom. Seatrax specializes in highly customized complex projects with customers in every corner of the world.

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician capable of thriving in our Houston facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Routine maintenance on 90,000sqft fabrication/assembly shop
• Routine maintenance on office facilities
• Coordinating forklift and other machinery service
• Maintain service records for equipment
• Overseeing grounds maintenance
• Completing minor repairs without outside assistance
• Coordinating outside contractors when necessary

This position involves an exciting mix of activities daily in multiple disciplines. A working knowledge of all types of systems is necessary for trouble shooting, repairing, and coordinating outside contractors

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Facility Maintenance Technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
