The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for completion of general janitorial and maintenance tasks in and around the facility, and for ensuring the outside of the property is clean and presentable to our employees, customers and community. This position will complete assigned service requests and other tasks which may include elimination of trash and other items, minor mechanical systems, plumbing, painting, cleaning, and more.
· Clean common areas, restrooms, hallways, sidewalks and the interior and exterior of the building by dusting, sweeping, mopping, blowing, power washing or other means
· Maintain a clean, presentable and safe property by walking the grounds regularly to eliminate trash/debris
· Perform property maintenance tasks such as replacing hardware or locks, painting, hanging doors or cabinets, fixing interior pluming or bathroom fixtures, etc.
· Regularly inspect, maintain and fix as appropriate, various grounds equipment
· Complete maintenance service requests and provide support and back up to maintenance team as needed; may perform preventative maintenance, make minor machinery adjustments, etc.
· Provide excellent customer service to customers, coworkers, vendors and the community
· Actively look for areas where improvement can be made to people safety, food safety or overall facility performance; communicate to supervisor as appropriate.
· Follow company policies, processes and SOPs; participate in a safe and respectful work environment
· Collaboratively perform other duties as needed and directed to support the goals of the company
· Must follow all safety rules, GMPs and company guidelines.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
The Eugene facility contains office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work. This position requires a person to frequently walk, stand and climb stairs; bend and twist; hear and talk; use hands to finger, handle or feel tools or controls; use hands and arms to reach, hold carry equipment. Also requires is frequent lifting/moving up to 30lbs; occasional lifting/transferring of objects up to 60lbs; use of machinery to move heavier objects.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
· Experience in facility maintenance or related; food manufacturing environment preferred
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Ability to become forklift and pallet jack certified; operate
· Self-starter who can work independently
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
· Ability to multi-task while remaining calm and working effectively under pressure
· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language; speak, understand, and read written and verbal instructions, policies and procedures

· Ability to perform required tasks safely, in a fast paced work environment; ensuring food safety, quality and efficiency standards are achieved
