Job Overview:

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our manufacturing facility and production equipment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in manufacturing maintenance, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, electric meters, and material handling equipment
  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or a related field
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance
  • Associate's Degree in a related technical field
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Production Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, including:- CNC machines

    • Welding equipment
    • Heat treat ovens
    • Assembly stations
    • Other manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform minor repairs using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools

  • Assist in maintaining maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency

Facility Maintenance

  • Inspect buildings, facilities, and systems to identify maintenance needs and recommend repairs

  • Perform minor electrical repairs, including:- Light fixtures

    • Switches and outlets
    • Ballasts
    • Fuses
    • Electrical cords and related components
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs such as:- Repairing leaks

    • Replacing faucets
    • Clearing clogged drains
  • Complete minor carpentry, painting, and masonry projects as needed

Workspace & Infrastructure Support

  • Install, move, and reconfigure office and production workspaces, furniture, storage systems, and related equipment
  • Support facility improvements and modifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, both inside and outside the facility

Inventory & Documentation

  • Order maintenance parts and supplies as required
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Track repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities
