Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a Facilities Technician II-3rd shift. The successful candidate will perform maintenance and general repairs of grounds, commercial and buildings. The position entails responding to work orders regarding light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical services as needed. Third Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM.

Drug Free Workplace Screening:
Technicians that have job responsibilities in the Finishing building or technicians who have been designated as backup for the Finishing building are considered “safety sensitive.” Employees in safety sensitive positions will be subject to drug screening prior to and during employment at Arthrex. The company’s drug testing procedure is part of the Arthrex Employee Reference Guide. (ERG)
Education and Experience:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of maintenance tools and machines.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
Physical Demands:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Vision Requirements:
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
