Job Overview:

Summary:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining our building, property and outdoor areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

  • Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs
  • Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and facility upkeep as needed
  • Maintain lawns, landscaping, and outdoor areas
  • Perform snow removal, shoveling, and salting during winter months
  • Keep sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and grounds clean and safe
  • Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns
  • Assist with seasonal grounds and facility projects
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment safely
  • Respond to general maintenance requests throughout the facility
  • Perform other facility and grounds duties as assigned.
  • As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience with hand tools.
  • General mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic reasoning skills to carry out work instructions provided in various forms.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
