Raytheon Global Enterprise Services (GES) has an opening for a Facilities Operations Associate the Forest MS location. Position focus is on preventive maintenance and repair on all facilities related equipment.

Job Description:

• Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure safe and proper operation
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot site infrastructure and equipment
• Read and understand floor plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction/shop drawings
• Safely navigate a variety of work areas, including ladders, roofs, elevated platforms, and confined spaces.
• Interface with Team and customers to contribute resolution of issues
• Practice Safe work and be proactive in reporting any hazards

Required Skills:

• Experience with maintenance and repair activities
• Solid mechanical background to include minor plumbing and construction related activities
• Good Teaming and Communication skills required
• Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and quality
• Available to work some weekend work/shift work may be required on occasion to support operations
• Ability and experience in operating powered industrial vehicles

Desired Skills:

• Proven problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Basic understanding of Fire Protection Systems and Controls
• Two year Technical or Trade School graduate
• Knowledge of city, state, and federal codes concerning facilities work, including local building codes, the National Electric Code, and OSHA regulations

Required Education and Experience:

• This role typically requires a High School diploma or 2 year post high school education and a minimum 2+ years’ applicable work experience

US Citizenship:

• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
