This position is responsible for managing small and/or less complex maintenance projects or managing multiple site managers overseeing multiple small and/or less complex sites/projects within the Operations & Maintenance function. Responsibilities may include: mobilization, operational sales, and marketing targets.
• Responsible for managing facilities operations and maintenance teams of the site in coordinating and managing the work including, but not limited to, critical and non-critical infrastructure maintenance and provide safe working environment of all site personnel.
• Manage preventative maintenance work of all critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions.
• Manage critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to prevent unplanned outages
• Interpret and implement policy and procedures
• Responsible for notifying designated GPOCs and/or Operations personnel on facility of significant events; ability to compile summaries of events, critical actions accomplished, plans for completion remediation, and brief to site management in various forums.
• Maintain client relationships by regular communication to better understand project operations, this communication should; appraise of Fluor activities, advise of potential improvements, assess changing needs, develop teamwork and ask for client feedback on performance
• Update and rewrite maintenance SOPS annually with coordination and collaboration with site engineering and the site change management board.
• Manage training plans for 24/7 employees ensuring a well-trained work force to respond to site anomalies.
• Manage and capture work task planned and unplanned with the client’s CMMS.
• Integrate new construction project into the maintenance program, development of testing requirements and coordination of site acceptance review.
• Manage the work to the terms of the contract by eliminating leakage and optimizing returns.

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Typically degreed, preferably in engineering or business field of study with minimum seven (7) years O&M Home office or Site experience and five (5) years experience managing small to medium somewhat complex Operations & Maintenance (O&M) sites or projects
• Experience in an operating commercial plant
• Minimum seven (7) years in a supervisory/management position
• Experience in heavy industrial environment, as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Supervisor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customer, and the general public
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Experience managing budgets
• Experience in conflict resolution
Other Job Requirements
• Minimum of seven (7) years of facilities operations experience
• Minimum of four (4) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of facilities operations
• Act as the first line of contact to the Client Plant Manager by conducting quarterly interviews and maintaining close client relationships
• Manage and execute maintenance, modification, and outage activities in accordance with the requirements of the contract
• Ensure maintenance planning and scheduling activities are fully integrated with plant operation
• Provide maintenance planning services including estimates for work orders
• Provide maintenance planning, scheduling and estimating for planned outage work
• Perform work in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates
• Control change/scope creep, ensuring that all scope changes are quickly and properly documented, and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of work
• Ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the contract are clearly defined, documented, understood, and complied
• Establish and maintain practices and procedures that ensure maximum efficiency in the execution of work
• Provide resource plans, addressing overall resources, costs, scheduling, and other details appropriate for the safe and efficient execution of work
• Establish and maintain an effective maintenance cost control program to ensure that reported work order costs accurately reflect the costs incurred, that variances from the estimate or plan are identified in sufficient time to permit management intervention, and that accurate projections and forecasts of expenditures may be made as needed by client
• Establish and maintain practices and procedures that ensure maximum efficiency in the execution of work, including analysis of historical data to assist client in providing equipment reliability at optimum costs
• Establish goals and objectives each year for assigned projects with division management
• Review existing drawings and old projects for accuracy and determine additional engineering design needed
