The Boeing CompanyWe are seeking a Facilities Multi-Services Maintenance Manager (Level K) to join our Boeing Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team supporting multiple Boeing sites within our Midwest Region, which includes Chicago, IL; Gary, IN; Heath, OH; Hazelwood, MO; Maryland Heights, MO; Mascoutah, IL; O'Fallon, IL; St. Charles, IL; Swansea, IL; and Wichita, KS. Your work location will be Mascoutah, Illinois. This role involves frequent travel to our Midwest Region Boeing sites supporting the GREF Facilities Maintenance Center of Expertise.
The primary area of leadership for this position is Building and Infrastructure Maintenance, to include specialized crafts (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, carpentry, metal working, boiler operator), facilities analysts, and provisioning. You will also oversee our integrated facilities management (IFM) services/provider. This role involves leadership, financial acumen, communication, and employee development skills. Our team performs infrastructure maintenance, repair, and services as well as manages supplier contracts for day to day operational support. These infrastructure improvements and maintenance projects support critical site production.
This role is for first shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) and at times may require alternative hours in support of special assignments, manager coverage and training. Weekend rotations for coverage are also applicable. Schedule flexibility is required.
Up to 75% domestic travel required to other Boeing sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and manages employees & contractors within the facilities occupation (facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, provisioning, engineering, and construction)
Primary area of leadership is Building and Infrastructure Maintenance
Leads, supports, and oversees our integrated facilities management (IFM) services
Develops and drives project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and manages relationships and partnerships with customers, vendors, peers, business partners and employees
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
Leads, coaches, develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Mascoutah, Illinois.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Willingness to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a related field
5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading others
5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, and all levels of leadership
3+ years of experience leading teams responsible for facilities analysis
Experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
Experience effectively managing team workloads
Self-starter; ability to drive and motivate teams
