We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our growing Camden, AR location.

 

This position may be filled at this level or one level higher.

 

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

60% - Plan and direct the scheduling of assigned departments and projects. Provide leadership for department personnel. Make staffing decisions and prepare employee performance appraisals. Develop and implement system solutions to problems and issues through collaboration with subordinate employees and cross functional teams. Write proposals for capital projects. Plan, schedule and oversee facilities projects. Manage outsourced services used for installing, building or repairing facilities as needed. Function as the technical advisor to plant management on tasks utilizing maintenance personnel.

 

20% - Communicate and coordinate with internal customers to ensure that site goals are being supported by the Facilities department. Exercise strong leadership skills and promotes improvement initiatives in daily operations. Ensure compliance with all company, safety, environmental requirements and regulations.

 

20% - Prepare and manage department budget. Track performance to meet objectives. Monitor the quality of services and continuously improve processes using Operational Excellence tools and techniques.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 9 years of progressively responsible experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated supervisory skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization are expected. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills needed, as well as computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of Oracle and MS Project a plus.

 

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.  Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 35 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
