Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Maintenance and Technical Services team, providing hands-on coaching, troubleshooting expertise, and technical direction to technicians supporting manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Drive reliability, uptime, and performance of 55+ injection molding machines (Toyo, Engel, Battenfeld, and Arburg), related tooling, robotics, automation, and auxiliary equipment.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production leadership to reduce downtime, improve OEE, increase equipment reliability, and eliminate recurring equipment failures.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs that minimize production disruptions and support business objectives.
• Lead capital equipment installations, equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and cost savings.
• Manage facility infrastructure and utility systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, fire/life safety systems, generators, and building maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance activities, documentation, and equipment programs comply with OSHA, environmental, quality, and company safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience supporting injection molding manufacturing equipment, maintenance operations, or technical services leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading maintenance, technical services, or manufacturing support teams.
• Extensive hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience with injection molding machines, preferably Toyo, Engel, Battenfeld, and Arburg equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, servo systems, robotics, automation, auxiliary equipment, and molding process interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technicians, develop technical capabilities within a maintenance organization, and drive accountability for equipment performance.
• Proven success reducing equipment downtime, improving reliability, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP maintenance systems (SAP PM preferred), work order management, and maintenance planning.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety practices, and facility utility systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance reporting/analytics tools.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
