The Facilities Maintenance Technician II is responsible for consistent upkeep and repairs of equipment and maintenance of our sites, ensuring smooth production and limited down time of equipment in our manufacturing suites.

This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Production Reliability and Infrastructure Services department located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs throughout the facilities, manufacturing areas, laboratories, and grounds.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building and manufacturing equipment.

  • Initiate, complete, and close out work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System.

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: **

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs, use of hands, climbing, bending, stooping

*The essential requirements of the job include: ***

  • High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor degree in Construction, Electrical, HVAC, or related field preferred

  • 2+ years experience in maintenance or facilities work.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Commercial or industrial facilities maintenance

  • Electronics troubleshooting and repair

  • Minimum two years maintenance experience preferred

You should be proficient in:

  • Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Maintenance and Repair Skills
  • Industrial Electrical Experience
