We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated **Facilities Maintenance Technician **to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of HVAC and mechanical systems. This position requires someone who can work independently, identify problems early, and take initiative to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Work with cooling towers, HVAC units, exhaust fans, heaters, air handlers, chillers, air dryers, vacuum systems, and vacuum pumps.
Perform soldering, threading, piping, and pipefitting.
Inspect equipment to identify and correct small issues before they become major problems.
Communicate effectively with leads and supervision regarding equipment conditions and repairs.
Work both indoors and outdoors, including on rooftops.
HVAC/mechanical maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of soldering, threading, piping, and pipefitting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive—able to identify work that needs to be done without being told.
