Intervala is hiring a Facilities Maintenance tech to perform routine property upkeep, basic facility repairs, and general organizational tasks. This entry-level to mid-level role ensures that the workplace stays clean, safe, and functional. Requires a hands-on individual who can safely handle tools, react quickly to facility needs, and support the maintenance technician team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Minor Repairs: Fix leaky faucets, unclog drains, replace light bulbs, patch drywall, and adjust door hinges
  • Preventive Upkeep: Check HVAC units, lubricate moving parts, and conduct routine facility walkthroughs to spot hazards 6s team
  • Cleanup and Grounds: Sweep and organize the workshop, clear trash, clean loading dock/outside lunch area, and handle seasonal snow or ice removal
  • Run floor scrubber
  • Asset Moving: Assembling office furniture, shifting heavy boxes, and setting up chairs/tables for company events
  • Inventory Control: Restock supplies and report low inventory levels to the supervisor
  • Support and Labor: Hand tools and materials to senior technicians, hold equipment steady, and help install or replace machinery parts


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools, with an eagerness to learn trade skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
  • Ability to follow direct, multi-step instructions and record completed daily tasks
  • Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements to maintain factory uptime
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work with database management software
  • Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members
     
     

Required Experience & Education 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Trade Schooling a plus
  • One (1) to Two (2) years related experience preferred
