Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute plumbing repairs and installations as needed to maintain facility functionality.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
• Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment.
• Summer Months, helping with lawn and landscaping.
• Winter Months, help with snow removal and salting of walk ways.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on plumbing, HVAC/R systems, and electrical repair.
• Ability to create and implement effective preventive maintenance plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
