Position Summary

As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving facility systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and proactive when it comes to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

• Schedule, prioritize, and complete facility repairs and maintenance projects.

• Document completed repairs and preventative maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including:- Plumbing

  • Electrical systems
  • HVAC equipment
  • Mechanical systems

• Monitor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Complete preventative maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure.

• Perform general building upkeep, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.

• Repair office furniture, replace lighting fixtures and bulbs, and maintain common areas.

• Assist with exterior facility maintenance, including snow and ice removal during winter months.

• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Participate in company safety programs and initiatives.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Lead and other departments to support facility operations.

• Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Previous experience as a Facilities Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar maintenance role.

Skills & Knowledge

• General knowledge of:- Building maintenance

  • Plumbing systems
  • Electrical systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Mechanical repairs

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Dedication to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

🕒 Monday - Friday

🕒 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

🕒 Overtime Available As Needed

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and overall skill set.
