General Function

Responsible for machine maintenance, and general maintenance functions as directed

Duties and Responsibilities

Adapt and promote lean manufacturing principals
Active participant in the Elimination of Waste Team meetings
Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives
Operate equipment as is required to keep floors, aisle ways, grounds, roadways, and sidewalks at a high standard of appearance
Routine maintenance in internal and external facility
Preventive maintenance to include cleaning of washers and using chemicals for measuring into the washer
Perform checks to update PM sheets and add chemicals to all the washers
Documents and adds to the titration charts
Use of the floor scrubber, liquid handling pumps, vacuums, and other facilities maintenance related equipment
Serves in the capacity of wastewater handler commensurate with completion of proper training
Possess working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001 and Q1 compliance criteria (Training)
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise
Other duties as required by Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and sometime as needed other supervisors / Team leads. (May receive direction from the Plant Manager)
