Job Overview:

Help keep our facilities safe, clean, and running smoothly. Maybury is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance professional to maintain our buildings, grounds, and essential systems. This role is ideal for someone with broad maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a practical, safety-focused approach to solving problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect buildings, grounds, systems, and common areas to help ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including painting, carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical work, flooring, and other building improvements.
  • Maintain lawns and landscaping through mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, leaf removal, and seasonal cleanup.
  • Manage snow and ice removal using a company pickup with a plow, snow blower, shovels, and ice-melting products.
  • Complete janitorial work, including carpet care, restroom and kitchen cleaning and disinfection, and trash removal.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical equipment, tools, and grounds equipment.
  • Coordinate specialized repairs, projects, and inspections with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Maintain safety checks, maintenance schedules, equipment logs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Set up and break down tents, tables, chairs, and equipment for company events.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least three years of related maintenance and repair experience, including landscaping, snow removal, carpentry, painting, and flooring.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, internet, typing, and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving history.
  • Availability to work outside regular business hours when needed for emergency repairs, snow removal, and similar situations.
