Primary Responsibility - Experience in building operation and maintenance including experience in one or more building maintenance trades (i.e. HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.)
- Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair
- Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.)
- Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, roller to apply paint, hanging doors, fitting locks, etc.)
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc.)
- Work with outsourced contractors in order to provide cost effective maintenance of the site, buildings, and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, fencing, building facilities, and vehicles
- Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents
- Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment
- May be required to work overtime if deemed necessary with occasional weekend work
Secondary Responsibility - Responsible for annual inspections- Fire, sprinkler, etc.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements - High School education or equivalent is required - associates or some college or trade school coursework a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in building maintenance
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Confined Space/Lock-Out Tag-Out requirements
- Good communication skills
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency working with Microsoft office suite, Excel, Word, Outlooks
Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Some travel is required
