You will be the Facilities Engineer / Project Manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Archbald PA. Our team is responsible for delivering technical solutions and providing project‑level problem solving across the Archbald site.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities Engineer / Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
- Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
- Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
- Supports Field Engineering and provides technical support throughout the project. Will interface with production and technical operations to support and design projects. Provides technical solutions and problem solving for a wide range of projects. Works closely with other facilities engineers and actively participates in unit improvement processes.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field ; minimum 5 years of hands‑on project‑management experience in commercial construction.
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with customers, cross‑functional teams, senior leadership, and diverse stakeholder groups.
Comprehensive knowledge of space‑type requirements, including manufacturing/assembly facilities, and office environments, to ensure designs meet functional and regulatory standards.
Strong construction‑management expertise, demonstrated through successful oversight, negotiation, and coordination with general contractors and subcontractors.
Advanced proficiency in core project‑management disciplines – schedule development and control, scope definition, cost estimation and budgeting, risk identification/mitigation, and delivery of high‑quality project outcomes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired skills
Extensive experience managing the construction and design of facilities and facility buildouts, from concept through close‑out.
Solid knowledge of building electrical systems.
Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project for scheduling, reporting, and collaboration.
Hands‑on expertise coordinating design reviews, permitting, and installation activities to guarantee timely, cost‑effective infrastructure delivery.
Familiarity developing and programming Building Management Systems.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
