Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate facility electrical systems, products, components, and controls through research and testing programs.
- Confirm system and component capabilities by designing testing methods and analyzing properties.
- Lead and support the Facility Maintenance Team to ensure preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements are up to date.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, engineers, and utility providers to specify, quote, and manage electrical and automation systems.
- Develop and maintain data, reports, and documentation for facility equipment and automation controls.
- Prepare and assist with capital and expense budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, customer, quality, and safety regulations.
- Provide expertise in facility maintenance, modifications, and upgrades.
- Act as team leader on construction projects and daily facility activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Communicate promptly any issues affecting Environment, Health, Safety, or Quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electricity, automation controls, and materials.
- Experience in facility electrical systems and maintenance leadership.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work proactively, lead teams, and deliver results under deadlines.
