As a Facilities and Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our facility safe, reliable, and operating at its best. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, coordination of facility repairs and projects, and hands-on support for improvements that keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll lead day-to-day preventative maintenance execution across building systems, tools, and equipment, and help identify issues early with the goal of reducing unplanned downtime. You’ll also serve as the primary connection between internal teams and external contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Leadership teams, as well as outside service providers. Your work directly supports productivity, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility. If you enjoy a balance of planning, coordination, and hands-on work in an industrial or manufacturing environment, this role offers meaningful impact and variety.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Do you enjoy preventing problems before they happen? Develop, execute, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for facility equipment, tools, machinery, and building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, pneumatics, and general infrastructure.
  • Are you proactive about spotting risks? Perform routine inspections to identify wear, safety concerns, or potential failures and address issues before downtime occurs.
  • Do you value accurate documentation? Record completed preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and corrective actions using CMMS or maintenance logs.
  • Are you comfortable coordinating outside partners? Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and service vendors, managing access, schedules, scopes of work, and safe execution.
  • Do you have an eye for quality and cost control? Obtain quotes, support vendor selection, track costs against approved budgets, and verify work completion.
  • Do you like hands-on project work? Provide labor support for facility projects such as equipment moves, installations, repairs, layouts, and workspace modifications.
  • Can you juggle multiple requests effectively? Receive, prioritize, and manage facility-related work orders to ensure timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Are you safety-minded? Support facility safety inspections, report hazards, and help ensure work complies with company policies and applicable regulations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade schooling preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, maintenance technician, or facilities coordination roles
  • Experience executing preventative maintenance and supporting facility projects
  • Experience coordinating service vendors and contractors
  • Strong working knowledge of facility systems and basic mechanical troubleshooting
  • Manufacturing or industrial facility experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform hands-on physical work in an industrial environment
  • Proficiency or ability to learn CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
