Job Description

A growing fabrication shop is seeking a skilled and motivated Fabrication Welder to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects while developing your welding and fabrication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and stainless-steel materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Fabricate parts to precise measurements and quality standards

• Fit, align, and assemble components using measuring and layout tools

• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality

• Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication equipment, including:- Press brakes

  • Rollers
  • Saws
  • Drills
  • Waterjet equipment
  • Laser equipment
  • TIG welding equipment

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the shop

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience preferred
• Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn will be considered
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic measuring and layout skills
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following safety procedures

Full Time Evaluation Hire Position

M-F 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

$22+ DOE / hour
