Fabricator / Welder

A local sign manufacturing company is seeking a Fabricator / Welder for their Ypsilanti location.

What you’ll be doing as a Fabricator / Welder

• Fabricating large customized signage
• MIG and Stick Welding - Primarily on aluminum with some steel
• Fabricating using shears, break press, saws, punch press, drill press, tapper
• Prepping the structure for the paint department
• Operating forklifts as needed

What you’ll need to succeed as a Fabricator / Welder

• 4+ years of fabrication experience required
• 4+ years of experience MIG welding on Aluminum required
• Experience reading blueprints
• Must have welding mask, welding gloves and a basic set of tools
• HS diploma or equivalent

Additional information for the Fabricator / Welder

• $24.00 to $27.00 hourly based on experience
• Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Paid holidays and PTO

You should be proficient in:

• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading
