Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a fabricator and welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a fabrication environment.
