JOB TITLE: Fabricator

EMPLOYER: Miller Weldmaster 

 

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

SUMMARY: Miller Weldmaster is accepting applications and resumes for full time fabricators. You will assist with the fabrication and assembly of our equipment. MIG welding on clean structural tubing, flat stock, and angle from 1/16” thick to 1” thick. We offer competitive wages, medical benefits, PTO, paid holidays, 401K with company match. Productions standard work week is Monday-Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm with occasional overtime on Friday. We have manufactured our equipment from the ground up in a clean and stable work environment for over 50 years.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in metal fabrication or trade school equivalent.
  • Experience with MIG welders, Tig Welder, Plaz cutters, torches, vertical and upright band saws. 
  • The ability to perform repetitive work with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Solid comprehension of basic shop mathematics.
  • Basic hand tool experience required which includes tape measure, drills, impacts, grinders, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Tow Motor Experience is a plus

  • Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. 
  • Frequently working near moving machinery.
