Fabrication Technician - Night Shift

We are looking for great future teammates in a fabrication role for our night shift at our Kiel facility. No experience necessary!

Starting Pay: Hourly pay starts at $18.75/hour, plus a $4.50/hour shift premium, making your hourly wage $23.25.  

Responsibilities: As a Fabrication Technician you will be trained on one of the following primary skills:

  • Press Brake
  • Forming
  • Welding
  • Laser Operator

You may also train and perform additional tasks like autoserting, forklift operation, or flexing to our paint & assembly area as needed. After training and gaining experience in one of these areas, you can expect opportunities to train in other competencies, earning more pay as you learn and grow!

Standard Schedule: Monday - Thursday   10 Hours shifts    4:00pm-2:00am    

    Important Schedule note: your first week of training will be Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts, 5:00am-3:00pm

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

What is the training like? 

No experience in manufacturing is necessary. New employees participate in a robust training program designed to get you the skills you need to be successful. Basic training starts with machine set-up, blueprint reading, safety, and more. From there, you will start training on your first competency skill in press brake operation, welding, punch press or laser machine operation.

We strive to find a skill specialization for our new employees where they feel comfortable and that plays to their strengths.
