We're looking for an experienced Fabrication Technician to join a collaborative engineering and manufacturing team supporting prototype development and production. If you thrive in a hands-on environment where quality, craftsmanship, and innovation come together, we'd love to hear from you.Position DetailsSchedule: 1st ShiftFlexible Start Time: 7:00 AM–9:00 AM (8-hour shift)Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hourWhat You'll DoPerform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel, including piping and square tubing.Fabricate precision parts and assemblies from engineering drawings while maintaining tight tolerances.Operate fabrication equipment, including bandsaws and general shop machinery.Perform basic milling operations to support prototype and production builds.Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, GD&T, and bills of material.Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.Partner with engineers and technicians to support product development and improve manufacturability.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Adapt to evolving prototype designs and support continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsProven experience with MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel.Experience fabricating precision components from engineering drawings.Working knowledge of shop equipment, including bandsaws and basic milling machines.Ability to use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, squares, and tape measures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred QualificationsAWS or equivalent welding certifications.Experience in a prototype, R&D, or new product development environment.Familiarity with CAD file review or basic CAM programming.Experience with sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing processes.Why Join Our Team?Competitive hourly payFlexible first-shift scheduleWork on cutting-edge prototype and production projectsCollaborative engineering and manufacturing environmentOpportunity to make a direct impact on new product developmentStable, long-term career opportunity with room for growthFootBridge is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and respected.
