PrideStaff isseeking a technically-mindedTechnical Support Specialistto join an established manufacturing company based in Bend, Oregon. We’re looking for someone with mechanical/electrical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving, working with machines, and guiding customers through technical challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Provide remote technical support for our mechanical and electricalsystems via phone, email, and diagnostics tools
- Troubleshoot and help resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues
- Guide new users through setup, calibration, and best practices
- Use tools like ERP, CRM, CAD/CAM software, and our knowledge base to support customers
- Log support cases, track issues, and manage part/warranty orders
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for training, diagnostics, or repair (once trained)
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems— comfortable using multimeters, hand tools, and reading schematics or manuals
- Familiarity withbasic electronics: switches, relays, sensors, motors, fuses, power supplies
- Ability todiagnose issues remotelyand communicate clearly with customers
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft OS, email, ERP/CRM systems
- Positive, accountable, and team-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to use your time effectively to learn on the job
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years troubleshooting or hands-on technical experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Problem-solving mindset and great customer interaction skill
