Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our manufacturing team! This position is ideal for someone with experience in metal fabrication, metal bending, and mechanical assembly who enjoys working with their hands and building high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabrication equipment, including press brakes, benders, and other forming machinery.
• Bend, shape, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and work orders.
• Assemble fabricated parts using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Verify dimensions and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication, metal bending, or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Experience operating press brakes, metal benders, or similar fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Welding or tack welding experience is a plus, but not required.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
