Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Production Supervisor
to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership
skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and
efficiency in our production processes. As a Fabrication Production Supervisor, you will be
responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of production workers, ensuring that
production targets are met and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks,
monitoring progress and providing guidance and support as needed.
2. Ensure that production schedules are met and that production targets are achieved
within established timelines and quality standards.
3. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality
control, and production efficiency.
4. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
5. Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards,
and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.
6. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that
materials and components are available for production as needed.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and
maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
8. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, quality
control data, and employee attendance and performance.
9. Lead by example in promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous
improvement among production staff.
10. Conduct performance evaluations for production workers and provide feedback on
areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Fabrication environment, with at least 2
years in a supervisory or leadership role.
2. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools, with a focus on
lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
team to achieve common goals.
4. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under
pressure.
5. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing
software applications.
6. Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively
communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
priorities and deadlines.
9. Must have five years of experience in both press operation and laser operation.
