Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc welding machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and welding materials.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, particularly in arc welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
