Position Overview

Support production by handling, inspecting, organizing, and packaging materials or products coming from an extrusion operation. The Extrusion Operator (Packout) helps ensure finished or in-process products are handled correctly, meet quality expectations, and move efficiently through the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Collect and handle product from the assigned production process.

• Inspect products for visible defects, damage, or inconsistencies.

• Package, label, sort, and stage products according to work instructions.

• Maintain accurate product identification and follow handling requirements.

• Monitor production flow and communicate issues to the operator or supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.

• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

• Assist with other production activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, packaging, or production experience is preferred.

• Ability to recognize product defects and follow quality instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and consistent work habits.

• Ability to follow established procedures and meet production expectations.

• Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned second shift.
