Responsibilities

• Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior welders as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of 3 years .
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
