Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Collaborates with other functions on effective implementation of APQP processes.
  • Leads APQP cross-functional team.
  • Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
  • Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.
  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Develops and implements corrective actions.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Pre Start and final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other technical degree
  • Experience leading and executing Advance Product Quality Planning Activities (APQP)
  • 5+ years of Quality experience
  • 5+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • Experience working/partnering with engineers, product owners, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution, processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
  • Experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Experience with Early Quality Involvement (EQI)
  • Experience in Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP)
  • Experience with Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

$108,800 - $147,200
