We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have solid hands-on press brake experience, including machine setup, tooling selection, and blueprint interpretation.
This is a job shop environment, not a production line. The right candidate must be comfortable working from prints, setting up their own jobs, and producing accurate parts with minimal supervision.
**Experience with Amada or Accurpress press brakes is nice to have, but not required.

**Responsibilities
**
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and job routers
Select appropriate tooling and perform complete machine setups
Determine proper bend sequences and material allowances
Produce accurate parts within required tolerances
Inspect parts using calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, and other measuring tools
Work with materials including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality throughout production
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Report defective materials or equipment issues to supervision
Follow shop safety procedures
Assist with general shop tasks as needed
**Required Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience working in a metal fabrication or job shop environment
Strong understanding of bending techniques, tooling selection, and material behavior
Basic math skills
Experience using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
Forklift experience is a plus
**Physical Requirements
**
Standing and walking for extended periods
Bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Lifting materials up to 75 lbs occasionally

**Pay is based on experience and skill level.

**This position is intended for experienced press brake operators. Applicants should be capable of setting up and running jobs independently from a print.
