Nordic Solutions is urgently seeking highly skilled Orbital TIG Welders to support advanced manufacturing and industrial projects throughout the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who take pride in precision workmanship, enjoy challenging projects, and are comfortable traveling to different manufacturing environments.

If you're a skilled Orbital TIG Welder who understands weld quality, fit-up, machine setup, weld parameters, and precision inspection, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate Orbital TIG welding equipment

• Perform precision TIG welds on tubing, pipe, and components

• Set and adjust welding parameters to meet project specifications

• Prepare and inspect materials and joints prior to welding

• Perform high-quality, consistent welds while maintaining strict dimensional and quality requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, WPSs, and engineering specifications

• Monitor weld quality and make adjustments as needed

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of completed welds

• Troubleshoot welding equipment, parameters, and process-related issues

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Adapt quickly to different equipment, procedures, and job-site environments

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of verifiable welding experience, with strong Orbital TIG experience

• Proven experience performing precision Orbital TIG welding

• Strong understanding of TIG welding principles, weld parameters, and heat control

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and welding specifications

• Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and/or other specialty alloys preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality

• Ability to troubleshoot welding processes and equipment

• Experience with weld inspection and quality requirements

• Ability to work independently and adapt to different manufacturing environments

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• $38/Hour

• $125–$180/Day Per Diem

• $0.76/Mile Mileage Reimbursement
