Responsibilities

Assist ophthalmologists during patient examinations and procedures.
Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and refraction.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate records.
Educate patients on eye care and post-operative instructions.
Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred.
Previous experience in an ophthalmic or medical setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
