Location: Euclid, OH
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

🔧 What You’ll Do

As a Furnace Operator, you'll be a key part of our heat treating process, working with controlled-atmosphere integral quench furnaces and tempering furnaces to ensure parts meet our high-quality standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting up, operating, loading/unloading, and monitoring batch hardening and tempering furnaces
• Following process instructions and specifications to ensure quality results
• Editing heat treat programs (as allowed) and managing endothermic gas introduction/removal
• Performing visual and mechanical inspections, hardness testing, and case depth measurements
• Completing all documentation accurately, including shop router paperwork and floor tracking entries
• Assisting in basic maintenance and keeping your workspace clean and organized
• Collaborating with teammates to maintain smooth shift transitions and support QC testing processes

🛠️ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience operating heat-treating equipment (preferred)
• Familiarity with integral quench furnaces, vacuum, and air temper furnaces
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical documentation
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs., working in high-heat environments, and operating tow motors
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

• Able to tolerate hot working environments
• Capable of safely operating tow motors and handling materials
